I bought this book so I could read it to my god-kids. I had planned on reading just the first page to get a “feel” of it, but 20 minutes later I found myself staring at the last page, it was that good. So Very... Max is one of those feel good stories that resonates with people of all ages. In a world where being different is looked down upon, and bullying is becoming the norm, it was great to read the message that this story conveys; being different is actually a good thing and if we can learn to accept and be comfortable with those differences we would be so happy. I really loved that Max’s Mom was such a strong character as well, I think that really helped Max is learning to accept who he was and to be more sure of himself. My only disappointment was that it wasn’t longer, lol. Great job Author Malcolm, I definitely look forward to other kids books from you.Product details

This delightful read holds an invaluable life lesson for children…and adults. The moral of this story is that we are to embrace our uniqueness. This book is an excellent way to teach children that being different is not a terrible thing. For conversations concerning individuality, comparisons with others and labeling others, I’m happy to say that this story will provide an easy way to address those questions.
